Support for a Live Conference

The A. Webb Roberts Center is an Accredited Provider for the ACCME. This accreditation status allows the AWRC to designate educational activities for AMA PRA Category 1 credit ™; and, therefore the AMA guidelines and ACCME Standards for Commercial Support (PDF) apply.

In adherence to these guidelines and standards, one-time live conferences may be supported as follows:

  1. Independent Medical Grant funding - All grant funding must be made in the form of an educational grant and made payable directly to the A. Webb Roberts Center for Continuing Medical Education. It has been our experience that many companies have a grant request process that does not involve the representative. If this is the case with your company, it would be most helpful if you would provide the grant request instructions (i.e., website address, grant department contact information, etc.) on the form below.
  2. Exhibit Fee - The payment of an exhibit fee in support of an accredited educational activity is considered a business transaction between your company and the A. Webb Roberts Center. It has been our experience that this decision is made at the representative level. Therefore, requests for exhibit fees will be made by our staff directly to the company representative.

Both sources of funding are beneficial to the success of each activity. Our staff will gladly support your company's process for each type of funding.
